Well from what I know of SVCDs right now I don't think there is a program that would let you view them on your computer. So to veiw them you need a DVD player that can read VCDs or SVCDs. I have one myself which is the APEX AD-1200.

Well actually you can play svcds on your computer with your cd-rom drive or a dvd-rom drive. You have to have a dvd playing software though such as windvd and powerdvd. I don't know much about it and I don't know any good free or trial versions to use because I have not tried to play them.

To appreciate heaven well, you must first experience hell.

    Bsplayer should suit your needs:

    http://www.bsplayer.org

IMO the most impressive media player I have ever used.

windows media player also works, albeit sucks monkey chunks. I agree with using BSplayer. Minimal resource use. I was able to compress a 2 gig archive, encode video, AND watch a movie all at the same time. None of the other players I used could play the movie without stuttering.
