    Smile Best Chess Games...

Do you love Chess. I just love Chess games. I have collected lots of Chess boards and pieces.

Can you guys tell me which are some of the best chess games (PC games) (Graphics wise). One of the best and innovative style that I liked was Battle Chess. It was a dos game that I never managed to make it work in windows xp but thats history.

I wanna know which are some of the best chest games for PC. If they are good enough, I will try to get them at my area.

    Thanx in Advance .

There's a "newer" version of Battle Chess (I do believe they make new versions every now and then... Wouldn't surprise me, given its popularity)... It's for Windows, yes, but I played it about 3 years ago, at a friend's house, so I don't quite remember the details...

It was pretty cool, whenever you moved a piece, a little theme song for that particular piece/character would play (pretty annoying after a while, but still cool)... The tutorial mode was also spoken (I remember the Rook/monster thing having this thundering voice... Heh, heh...)... Good graphics, etc. etc.

I suck at chess, but that game was fun... Try a google search...? :\

    EDIT: How's this...?

Yeah, battle chess was cool. I used to play it a lot when I was younger and got lots of enjoyment out of it.

Battle Chess was my first game; I loved it, even though I didn't know how to play chess very well. Chess via forums are fun, too...I don't play any chess programs anymore, though. The newest version of Chessmaster I have is 3000.
