    Post XBOX, Gamecube

Any XBOX or Gamecube Emulators and Roms yet?, I've heard that you need fast pc's to run them, would pentium 4 1.5 Ghz, 512 mb ram be enough?

well thats the big question mark over everyones head now since the gamecube and the X-box are both very powerful machines and need a very powerful pc to even run an emulator. never the less you probably shouldnt expect a working emulator out for a while maybe even a couple of years as for a rom probably sooner but they will be extremly rare and difficult to find. for one thing n64 has been out for almost 6 years now and even the best emulators dont run all of the games and if they do they are probably very laggy but some arent that bad anywayz i got drifted off..... to answer your question i think ur machine might be just enuf to run an emulator for a console of that power just dont expect one anytime soon thou...........

Gamecube should come out May 3.

Thats when its should be coming out over here (until the release date slips)

England and Ausralia stuff usually comes out at the same time cos we get exactly the same PAL hardware and software instead of American NTSC <IMG SRC="smilies/yelcool.gif" border="0">

Over here in America where the Gamecube has already come out... I HAVE seen a site that had gamecube roms. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to them because my system was bogged down with porn-site pop ups (I HATE THAT!!!) and eventually crashed. This is the first rom site of ANY quality I've ever seen. Its still being updated regularly, and the forums are excellent. ANYWAY, when I say I've seen a site that had Gamecube roms, I mean that they say they have roms. I didn't get to actually see them. Just to tell you though, the mini-cds the gamecube uses hold 1.5 gig each. That's a hefty download, no matter how fast of a line you have. I personally have a 56K, and it takes my about 6-10 hours to download 100 meg. If you don't have unlimited internet time you could get a ISP bill that about matches what you'd pay for the gamecube and games. This post is too long...

Gamecube roms are worthless. There aint no way to play them, so why bother? Maybe someday emu's will pop up, but till then the roms/iso's dont matter.
