Xbox Mod Chips
My mate is looking at getting an Xbox chip, but has a couple questions...
http://www.modchip.com/ has the X-Bit. Is this place reliable to get modchips from? Also, what is the Flash software they're talking about, how easy is it to install, and can you copy Xbox games to the Xbox hard drive with this modchip?
If anyone has any other chips or websites that are better, please post info here.
Thanks.

The only way to leagally sell the modchip is with a blank bios. It has Flash memory that you have to put the software on to play burnt games. This is called flashing the chip or something like that. If you don't flash the chip the modchip of useless.

Ok, thanks.
Now, with a mod chip, is it possible to copy Xbox games onto a hard drive?

The modchip doesn't come with the software. If it did M$ would shut the company down. You can just d/l the BIOS software online and then flash it onto the chip.
