Default New 1964 0.99 is out

    http://1964emu.emulation64.com/

It should work well for the majority, though please be advised that a last minute issue crept in for Radeon cards using Rices plugin. I suspect an update will be made available pretty soon to fix this.

In the meantime Radeon users feel free to use Rices in GL mode or another graphics plugin.

IS that the version we've all been looking forward to? The one that plays Goemon?
Please please PLEASE say it plays Goemon.

    Yes it plays Goemon

    Some notes:

    Radeon problems as noted

Ensure you uninstall all Rice Deadalus reg issues before using his plugin - do this using the uninstall .reg file in the 1964 installation folder

If you still have graphics probs then mess with combiner/blender modes, as well as forcing SW T&L which may be neccessary on some cards (like an inbuild 3D Analyze that me and Gent, another tester both lobbied for).

Well, first problem. I haven't touched any options, and Mario Tennis lags like a bumhead. VERY laggy.

    My specs:
    GeForce 4 MX 440
    1024 SD RAM
    Pentium 4 1.9ghz

By default Rice has the framebuffer turned on, something which I wasn't completely in agreement with. Solution just turn the framebuffer off for the moment.

It should run perfect for you on that system (the graphics card is great for Rices). And make sure you uninstalled the reg entries before starting the emu.

If your paying, I'll buy it No money.
Well, it's the only game I've tested so far, I'll test, but if there are problems, then I'll have to go back to PJ64, my ex-slavemaster.

The problem you are having is due to the graphics plugin, so simply change it to Jabos D3D 1.51. No need to change emulators

I think turning FB off should fix it though.

Not sure what Advance Wars is on N64 to be honest Solitude. I'll see if I can find out. Edit: Just looked can't think of anything that was like that on the N64 to be perfectly honest. I'll be very interested to see if there was one like it though.

tis called wars or something like that....but its only in japanes, and since the game by itself is so rare, there's no translation for it...i found the screenshots for it somewhere.i'll try and dig up the site again

Any links to a site that has it? Tried all the regulars, such as NGEmu, and the like.

Sorry for the double post, but it's a 64 emergency. When I try to change the plugin settings, the emu freezes up and doesn't register it. What shall I do? I'm trying to change from Rice's plugin to Jabo's.

EDIT: Never mind, it healed itself. Thanks for all the help, Del_Boy and Solitude.
