It's the official site from square, and isn't taken with a video camera. It's the actual stream and looks much nicer and downloads much quicker. Anyways, there's lots of good stuff to see on that site .

lol. My cousin made that comparison when he started playing my copy of X-2. BUT, imho, X-2 wipes the floor with X. I like X-2 far more than X, and it was very nicely written, and did bring back memories. Plus, you can do sidequests from the beginning of the game, and you HAVE to play through it at least twice to even get 100% (you'll see what I mean when you have to make a certain choice).

Im an obsessed FF7 fan so i will buy advent children no matter what! im even buying FFX-2 when it comes out here in the uk,
not coz i like ffx but coz its gona have an extra dvd with an exclusive unseen advent children trailer..lol

Well, considering most movies these days run an hour and-a-half at the shortest, and at least two hours on average, this does seem a bit short. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they manage to do something decent with the short running time they've chosen for it.

lol.. i'm back.. i just hope i wasn't COMPLETELY forgotten..

anyway.. i have to say that i am an avid FFVII fan.. but i must really tell you that from i saw in that trailer, things are looking to be far too action-oriented to do FFVII justice..
and FFX-2 is actually pretty good.. EVERYTHING about this game is different.. characters and places were carried over, but otherwise there is nothing the same as FFX.. i didn't want to play it either until my friend got his copy.. trust me.. you should at least try it out..

I know this thread is old, but I'm gonna revive it for a bit.

I read all of the posts here about Advent Children, and I noticed that alot of you are doubting that FF7:Advent Children will be any good due to it's length.

It's not really a movie. They are calling it a "Visual Work" piece or product that is non-intereactive, that exists as an "extension" of the original game (ff7).

Besides....Vincent Valentine is gonna be in it.....this is gonna rock.

I'm not hyped up to see it, but I'll probably pick up a copy (rented, preferably) to see what it's like, and if I like it, then I'll purchase it. Alas, I can't really tell much at this time, nor am I really interested in it that much.

I can say that it'll be iffy on the degree of quality in the movie. Sure, the CG is going to be fucking sweet, but that didn't save Spirits Within, did it? That was still a rather bad movie. At least, in my opinion it was. Yet all the fanboys hopped onto the bandwagon.
