Nope. I just have to look.
But I can type blind with the NumPad. Does that count?

meh
I can sometimes type blind but for me it's a reaction to look at the keyboard, and I type weird too. I use all my fingers on my left hand, but I mostly use 2 fingers on my right hand so with my left hand I use every letter top and bottom were there are asdfgh and with my right hand I use jkl; so that's just weird.
Nah! I usually look at both the screen and the keyboard... I was practicing with a typing tutor, but that was quite a while ago and I got sick of it... I look a at the keyboard like... once every second...?
I should really practice some more...
That's pretty much how it is for me. I don't make it a habit to look at the keyboard, aside from when it comes time to use the number keys in any capacity. That's the only time I'll glance at the keyboard. Well, that, and when I'm typing a password out. I'll glance at the keyboard to make absolutely sure I'm typing it correctly.Originally posted by Maison
I type blind, and have been for years. Only thing that really throws me off are the number keys, and that's just because I never use them.
Of course I can, 152WPM as well.. Typing blind right now too, well im on the computer 14 hours a day.. thats what it does to you
yeah, I can type pretty fast on the keyboard blinded.
Oddly enough that's how I am as well. I use all my fingers on my left hand correctly, but on my right hand I predominantly only use my pointer and middle fingers. I've never quite understood why I learned to type like that.Originally posted by jack100

-Mason Gray: Less vowels, same great consonant taste.
well kinda.....
its like my mind knows where the keys are but my fingers are too dumb to find them
here is an exsmple and its teallt hard nor to look at the keus
Even the paranoid has enemies
ican very easily type blind (like right now) but i just look at the keyboard more as a habit
I can't remember the last time I looked at the keyboard whilst typing
I can type blind when its my own words but when its off a sheet of paper i have to look or my typing gets really slow.
i type like elin does.. i'm always looking down and i look up to see if that what i want to say.. but i'm at around 50 words per minute like this though so who cares, right..?
Number keys are fine for me because I use the number pad. Other than that, I don't use a lot of the shift-number keys save for @, $ and !, and those are pretty easy to get at.
hmm, well i can type slow (cause i type one letter at a time 8) ) and sometimes i can type without looking but just to make sure that i type what i really want to say i have to look down at the keyboard, especially if the keyboard isn't US international like i have here in the ass of the world where instead of a damn ";" i have a damn "" grrrrrrrrrrrrr... damn.
Sometimes... life just slaps you right in the face with an anecdote... and once you realize it you don't know if you should laugh or cry...
