    Default N64 ROM editing...

is anyone familiar with editing the text in an N64 rom? i'd like to do a translation of a game... if anyone knows how to get hex tables out of one, i need to know. i've goetten the FAQ from zophar's domain, but it works great with zelda and not the rom i'm working on!

edit: well, it looks like no one knows how to do this either lol i've done SG, SNES, and NES translations but i don't understand the way the N64 roms work... just to let everyone know, i'm working on animal forest. i've already translated a ton of dialouge, all menus, and some items, but it woiuld be a lot easier if i could "see" the inside of the rom! well, if anyone has any info, please get in touch with me! thanks!

Mabye you can try a romhacking forum. They might know the answers to all of your problem. An even better idea is to ask people who have translated N64 roms before.
