I've read the first couple of pages of Terry Pratchetts latest, seems interesting.

My reading of novels has dwindled somewhat recently as I simply do not have the time what with work and suchlike.

I've been doing so much else that I really havn't gotten time to read, but one book I'm into now is Ender's Game. Yes, my interest for this has come from the release of Advent Rising, but sadly I haven't gotten to play that yet. I am hoping to continue with teh rest of teh books in the series, but God only knows how much longer I can take these books out from the library. Oh wait, nevermind, November 17th. Now to see if I can renew them again... One other sci-fi book I recommend is "The Stars My Destination". by Alfred Bester. I've read it once before, but I'm planning to go at it again soon.

Well, soppy dumb blonde ain't so bad if you have the boobs to match.

I read the Hangout. Not that many characters, and the plot really leads nowhere. I'm confused. But for other reasons.

when i was a freshman i had to read Jurassic Park for a biology report. now im reading The Lost World just for myself. the plot is entirely different from the movie. the first book was only slightly off from its movie but this is practically a whole different story from its movie.

Some collection of stories written by Poe. Great stuff.
I especially liked "A Descent into the Maelstrm" and "The Pit and the Pendulum".

I'm currently reading a small collection of short stories by H. P. Lovecraft. I am also attempting to read all of the Discworld novels in order and have made my way up to "Soul Music".

Read the Abyss by Michael Crichton a while back ... was exactly like the movie, cos apparently the movie and book were written at the same time by Michael crichton or summin.

By the way Crichton wrote jurassic park , the sphere etc...

Reading The Inscrutable Americans by Anurag Mathur. Seems tolerable till now, another sad story of a besotted Indian student in America.
