    Default p2p Problem

Yeah I know, It isn't Warez though.

I just installed KAzaa Shareaza and Kazaa lite and I get the same problem from all of them. None of them will connect. My Firewall is turned off and MY win XP firewall is disabled. Anyone know the Problem.

I have DSL and I run off of a router which goes to my dads computer.

    One word - router.

As for what ports to forward, I have no idea what Kazaa uses.

Could you elaborate as to what that means?

Kazaa uses port 1214, so forward that port on your router and see if that helps.

If not go into Kazaas options and enable Port 80 for incoming connections.

Open every port on the router to check if it's ports being shut off. And I thought KAZAA used port 8080.

Well the router wasnt the problem. I spent about 3 hours going through network permissions and found the proble. The incoming was working just fine. It was the permisions not letting my computer talk on those ports. Its fixed now.

Pretty certain it uses the port I stated.

Kazaa uses either port 80 or port 1214... not 8080...
