Question Not able to get Jingle Cats to work- Faulty file?

I'm experienced with emulators to some degree, so I know kinda what I'm doing for the most part. To make a short story shorter I've been trying to install Jingle Cats for the PS1 using this link here and have been trying to use ePSXe and pSX with no luck. Each time that I try to start it gives me this message here Click image for larger version.

If anyone would be kind enough to help me I would really appreciate it. I don't have the best knowledge of emulators and I hope I provided enough information.

That's just the cue file not the game. You should also have a .bin file.

    Did it extract properly?

Also it's just listed as a vlc file because that program is just associated with that type of file. You can change that in the vlc options somewhere

Ah! It seems that I didn't extract properly, but unfortunately I got a new problem.

So I properly extracted the file this time (or at least I'm sure I have to my knowledge) but when I try to play the .bin file I get an error for a .cue file.

I don't see a .cue file anywhere and when I do load in the game I get an error that looks like this.

The vlc files are in the same folder as the bin files- could that be the problem?

The VLC file is the cue file open that file, not the bin file directly

You need both the bin and the cue in the same folder and open the cue file directly, that tells whatever software is reading it what file to read (the bin file) what tracks are inside the bin file and the data format of the data track in the bin file
