Destruction Derby 2 on android ePSXe not working

i am currently using an samsung s6 to play ps1 games with epsxe. most games i have tried worked and i really wanted destruction derby 2 to work as well but when i get to the first loading screen the screen starts glitching and kicks me to my home screen. i find this kinda weird since the game works just fine on my pc but i can't get it to run on my phone without it crashing. anyone know what is going on?

It could be that the game needs CDDA to work so the image must be run from a descriptor file and be a single binary file and descriptor file (multi bin or bin and multi wav's may not work on the android port)

I have no personal interest in the Android version so this is speculation, but I am aware of common issues running PSX games
