Has anyone loaded an emulator on their phones? If so, h]what are the pros and cons are reloading them on your phone? I know for more intensive emulation such as the DS and PSX, you need good hardware.

There's really no point unless you're out and about a lot and have nothing else. Otherwise stick to running emulators on a PC or console.
If you're set on it though there shouldn't be much of a problem. Psx stuff should run fine on anything even remotely current. Don't know about DS stuff. What kind of phone do you have??
Obviously certain things would be a bitch to play on a little touch screen - say a fighter like Mortal Kombat or something. It's great for classic jrpgs though like Final Fantasy etc.
It'll eat up a battery charge quickly too of course.
I own an LGL33L phonebut thanks for the top. I am better off on a PC.
I emulate GB/GBC/GBA/NDS on my phone so i can list exactly what the best emulators are to use, and the pros and cons of using them.
(Assuming this is an android)
For GB and GBC - MyOldBoy!
PROS
It is a very reliable emulator
Has a lot of personalization options so you can customize your experience to the very best.
Fast forward upto 16x
Upto 4 Save states (Including a quick save state)
Controller easily customizeable
CONS
None so far. All has been well
For GBA - MyBoy!
This emulates Game Boy Advance.
PROS
Same as MyOldBoy
CONS
Same as MyOldBoy
For NDS - DraStic
This a very tempermental emulator but is the best because of it's features, one of which is being able to close the lid which is an important part in the beginning of 'The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass'
PROS
Very easy to access games, the emulator scanns for them on your SD card and if it finds any, puts them into a libary which is easily accessed.
Has a responsive touch screen.
Runs games well on a 1Ghz Quad core +
CONS
Long loading times if the game is compressed.
Can be Buggy.
Now for Emulating over all on mobile devices.
I prefer playing GB/GBC/GBA/NDS On my mobile devide as it is much easier to press the buttons and it has more of a mobile feel to it which was the whole point of the Game boy's and the DS to begin with. It's also a good way to get to sleep i've found.
PROS
You can play it anywhere
Feels more authentic
CONS
Can be more buggy
Can lag more since it's on a phone.
Hope i could help you pick an emulator to use on your mobile device
