Cannot Join Capcom vs Snk 2 Files together to get img. file

Ok, i read a guide in here explaining how to join files using Winrar or 7zip. I tried using both with no success. I keep getting "Cannot open file as archive". I got the game file from here and i can't join it. The files are track01.bin track02.raw track03.bin and also Cvs2GDI file. I extract just one of the files and i just get that error msg. I try to extract all and still the error msg "Cannot open files as archive." Please help.

There is no need to join the split archive, you just have all parts in the same folder and open the first part then extract.

The bins are the dreamcast disc data and the gdi is what tells the program how to read the data.

What do you mean by "open up the first part?" You mean track01.bin. It still doesnt work. Can you be more detailed, cuz i looked at youtube videos of people doing the exact same thing im trying to do and its not working. Its not the file either cuz i DLed it like 5 times and i cant get this to work.

Those files aren't an archive. Warrior's first sentence was just being general about split archives.
Read the second sentence of Warrior's post, it is relevant to the files you have.

Ok, i got it to work but i still have an issue. I was using Demul to run the img and it wouldnt work. I tried Nulldc and it worked. Why doesnt it work with Demul?

Demul is probably outdated and not being actively developed?

Every emulator has its quirks, some are better coded than others.

The best emulators for dreamcast are NullDC and Reicast, Reicast can only be used on computers with RetroArch as the Reicast team only focuses development for mobile.

demul it may just be a regional setting

I done a quick test with Demul 0.5.8.2 and it boots just fine, just set the region to auto region
