I only have a laptop right now but... here goes,
    Laptop Model: HP Pavilion dv7t
Processor: I7 2630 QM (OCed to 3.0Ghz on all cores)
Memory: 8gb of whatever HP puts in its laptops
GPU: ATI radeon HD 6770 1gb
HD 1tb 7200rpm main drive, 2tb Seagate Passport USB 3.0 External Drive
Optical: Again, whatever brand of Blu-Ray drive HP puts in its machines.
OS: Windows 7 HP Service pack 1
Speakers: I alternate between a Bose 123 5.1 surround system and a pair of Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones
Not the best machine, but it runs almost anything I throw at it at ~60 fps.

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 400x8- 3.2ghz | XFX GTX 260 868mb 192 Core
    2x2GB G-skill PC6400 DDR2 800 | Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS
    GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 (rev. 1.0) | TX750w Corsair PSU
    Antec 900 Case | 1680x1050 Acer X223W 22''
    Logitech S-220 Speakers | Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Modest system, thought about upgrading to a E8400 when they get cheaper for emulation. I no longer play PC games (new ones) so losing my quad wont effect me much.

I know that this is very late, but meh.
You're right, 8GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming or multitasking. But nowadays, RAM is very very cheap. You can get 16GB of RAM under $100.

    1.60 JIGA-HERTZ?!?
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
