Hmm, does it run nice? Is it all it's cracked up to be? How'd you get on that list anyway? What kind of Page File does the new Windows have? Have you managed to get any random crashes yet, or has it been pretty stable?

    Anyway, I think that's enough questions . . .

And good to see that I was right on the rest of that stuff. (Always good to be right!!!) I guess I'm a decent when it comes to guessing computer stuff (uses and equipment)!

it DOES NOT run nice. Thats why im dual-booting it crashes every 20 or so minutes for no reason and takes WELL over 2 hours to install. looks nice though

im using longhorn build 5048 which i got from a friend who is subscribed at msdn (rich ass bastard ). i heard that the 4000 builds are better and are (believe it or not) more stable.

God...I hate longhorn... I've been wanting to get the newest one, so I'm stuck with 4074.

Intel isn't trying to get higher ghz right now, so you won't see anything like a 5 ghz pentium for a very long time. Right now it's mostly about optimizing the processors so you get more speed out of them without increasing the actual clock speed (which results in more heat and power usage).

    AMD Athlon1.1ghz
    1 gig ram
    NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200
    2 internal hard drives - 120 gig, 160 gig
Wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse
    Creative 5.1 surround Sound
Monitor - Sony HMD 17 inch Flatscreen/ 42'' Sony HDTV. Yes, I'm on my couch right now. I can also watch all my AVI's and play my games on the big screen. The only time I break out the monitor is when I'm playing a pc game where 800 pix's just won't cut it.

Yeah, but it's not out-dated though. Still better than anything Radeon has put out though I'll eventually get a new one. I'm pretty good about keeping current(except on processors).
