Default dolphin v5.0: textures striped and wrds/#'s randomly scrambled

hey evry1, the title is garbage ik but, here's a pic that'll show u wat my issue looks like, as i'm terrible at describing it
    http://oi63.tinypic.com/wix3lt.jpg

this issue isn't happening in just that game, but all games i've ran so far

portraits, images, wrds, and numberz, it scrambles randomly then it'll fix itself at some point, but scrambled again some time later

to b specific, if i entered a new area, menu, etc, it'll either fix it or scramble it again

in terms of textures, they just look like they've been put thru a paper shredder then rendered as stripes lol

ther's no pattern as far as i'm aware, as i said, it's just random

i messed arnd with the graphics settings, checking/unchecking stuff cuz idk wat i'm doing XD and none of them fix the issue

if any1 has a fix, shoot me some instructionz and i'll follow em to the letter

my comp specz r as follows:

    64-bit win7 ultimate SP1
    AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core processor ~4.0GHz
    16GB ram
    asus AMD Radeon R9 270x

ty all in advance for taking the time to assist me

    fixed it

after updating display driver and some trial and error, switching to openGL graphics backend gets rid of the issue

only game i've played extensively, that has issues that i've encounted; was in paper mario TTYD

FPS would drop from 60 to 30 consistently evry 3secs arnd ther, 1st happened when i was in petalburg but also happens out in petal meadows pipe to the castle

other than that, all games run fine without that graphical issue

side note: [dolphin] mario kart 64 sound skipz ahead, as if the game is running too fast for the sound to catch up, lmk if u gys have a fix for that and i'll post an update as i go

For Mario Kart 64 instead of emulating inside of another emulator, you could just use an N64 emulator for PC instead of the N64 Emulator for the Wii (Virtual Console version)

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]

    Hmm maybe PJ64K aka Project64K

Retroarch also supports Netplay for various platforms including N64

    Just some other options

I can't guarantee any of those will run well

PJ64K is an old one though but Retroarch is brand new

Netplay in general can be a funny thing for higher demanding emulators though they tend to get desynced too easy, so all I can advise is to play round with the options you have and see what works best for you and whoever you are netplaying with
