    Default Issues repairing with quickpar...

Following the guide on here for using Ragnar's stuff. Putting the par2 and rar into one folder for the first step, then when I double click on the par2 it goes to work for a few seconds and then stops and tells me I need more blocks, somewhere from 5000-9000 depending on the game. Not really sure how to proceed to get these to work? I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious.

Sounds like Quickpar isn't detecting the split rar files, that's why you place the files in the same folder. You have all the rar files? You haven't changed the filenames? You sure you paired the right par2/rar's together? That's it for obvious problems I can think of. If you post a screenshot of the files you're working on plus the failed Quickpar scan I'm sure I could point out the exact issue.

Hi, I couldn't find any instructions on how to use QuickPar, but I've been following the forum and reading to see if I can find what I'm looking for. I had the same problem, QuickPar was asking for additional blocks. But then I moved the Par2 file to the downloaded folder and tried again. This time there was no error, but the amount that was created was the same amount as the Par2 file. Is that correct? I tried Dolphin, but there was no file in the folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you just made your own par2 stuff. Delete any/all par2s you have, redownload the single par2 block for the game you downloaded and follow this guide:

Thanks for the tuto, just what I was looking for. It worked great, very easy to follow and already have an iso file. Now I have to find out why is the game not playing in Dolphin, but I know that must be in another forum. But the par2 issue was fix, thanks.
