Awesome dude! How much did that cost? I wouldn't mind having some more jazz laying around to listen to.

I finally bought Katatonia's Tonight's Decision. ****ing amazing album... I have had to listen to a ripped copy of it on my hard drive for months because my local music store has been out of copies! I was fortunate to be there the other day when a copy came in.

My dad picked up the following for me when I was at school:
Iron Maiden - Dance of Death (the new album, only came out today!)
The Darkness - Permission To Land

After spending the last 2 hours doing homework, I think I have every right to be sat here listening to the new Iron Maiden album. I'm only on the 2nd track, but it's bloody amazing so far. Certainly makes up for the letdown of this year's 'other' big name metal album, in my eyes at least...

It certainly does, if it wasn't for Muse, SYL, Radiohead and Opeth, it'd be my album of the year...

The other day I bought Nirvana - Nevermind on LP format. It's an original 1991 pressing, the cover is pretty OK but there's a little scratch at the end of 'Polly' that makes it skip

Excellent choice. I love Emperor. New one huh? new as in after the discipline of fire and demise? That's the one I have and I read somewhere that "they" broke up after that (they is in quotes because in the credits the one guys seems to play just about everything which makes it hard to believe that it could really be a brake up, but still.)

Anyway, I finally got some moneys to spend I got that Ministry DVD I was talking about a while back. I also got the Alice in Chains music box DVD. Makes me both happy and sad to listen to Alice in Chains now (more happy though because the music is so great). May the great and inspiring Layne Staley R.I.P.

I've just ordered Metallica's 'Live Shit: Binge and Purge' box set from Amazon.co.uk (only 45.99!). I decided to get the DVD and CD edition, after finally finding out how to set my DVD player to multi-region. I've wanted it for ages, so I'm really happy. Now I've just got to hibernate for a few weeks until it arrives...

It's not often I buy CDs, so it's special for me.
Today I bought the lovely duvvley album which me and some of my cohorts have been eagerly awaiting.
Yes, that's right, it's Muse - Absolution. It is VERY good so far, as I have listened to about half the album.
