I picked up the new Less Than Jake album. If any of you are familiar with the band, you'll understand when I say it was too much like Borders and Boundaries to be incredible. anthem, set the bar really high, and while this is a good album, it falls short.

Songs for the Deaf, the most recent Queens of the Stone Age album (though released two years ago), was a better purchase. Haven't been able to listen to the entire album (I always get stuck on Sky is Falling).
The psychotic dress, the senseless feature terrifies every living creature. Predictability is wearing thin; groundbreaking practice for the preacher.

He said "awesome," so I'm guessing yes. Personally, I'm not going to try to guess how you judge the quality of music.

Cryptopsy - Whisper Supremacy.

No better than ...And Then You'll Beg in my opinion. Still good though.

The Cure - The Cure

At last. Been listening to it since Monday. Seems...ok. Sounds like they're trying to replicate their early-80's sound again, like they did with Bloodflowers, but just don't quite manage.

Bought this weekend on vacations:

Slayer - Reing In Blood[Expanded Edition] Brilliant, simply brilliant.
Opeth - Deliverance
In Flames - Colony

I love the 3 already.

Anyways. I went to HMV to pick up some Nirvana stuff, and pretty much everything was out. So I had to pick up the Best of... CD. Which is still pretty good, but I'm gonna get the others as well, just 'cause. There's also a "Singles" boxset that I'm looking into getting. Has 19 tracks all together, and apparently some of them aren't on CDs. So I'm told. I'll have to verify.

And you'd be right. It has all most of the material left off of In Utero and Nevermind on, plus some tasty live tracks, that have only been offically released in the Singles Set.

Fuckin' sweet. I'm going to pick that one up next, probably. I'm told that some of their unreleased stuff is just so fucking rad.

Anyways. I'm bought a used copy of Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be off my friend Taryn. She got another copy for her birthday, so I bought her old one off her for five bucks.

Wow. Two posts in a row, by me!
I picked up the Headbangers Ball today. It's actually pretty good. Got some sweet bands on it.

Godsmack, Hatebreed, Staind, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Ill Nino, Mudvayne, Stone Sour, Soil, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Mushroom Head, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Sworn Enemy, 36 Crazy Fists, Cradle of Filth, Poison The Well, Strapping Young Lad, As I Lay Dying

Just bought Arch Enemy's 'Wages of Sin'. Bloody expensive (15.99), but more than worth it for such a brilliant album...
