But the entire country has a population smaller than Lisbon's, and they were playing against a player frequently cited as one of the greatest of all time. What does he expect? Also, he should be careful what he says about them not going anywhere in this tournament. Greece played a very similar way back in 2004, and they wound up winning the whole tournament... at the expense of Portugal.
It's really easy to lose your cool in situations like this and get tilted, when you're against the one team that's been "jabbing" you days before the match.
Unprofessional behaviour, sure, but understandable.

Yeah, Portugal's really bad against Benfica style of play.I'm with King here, gotta support our friendly neighbours. Not gonna be easy cos a player as great as he can be, and Cristiano certainly is, can't make a team. The lack of a central striker makes Portugal too foreseeable and easy to defend against. I wish them to have the best performance possible in the tourney tho. And let's hope what happened with Greece in 2004 doesn't repeat ever again, that was a shame :/
