Wink Post your game glitches here.

Your glitch can be an emulator glitch, or a glitch from a physical game. Any year, any game, any country, any version (PAL, NTSC, etc.), any glitch. (You can post your glitch as a video, too.)

My first ever glitch (I THINK) was in T.H.U.G 1 on PS2.

With activiation of the moon gravity cheat, I discovered that if you press the JUMP button again next to a wall on foot, you can hop up the wall and to a different area. This helped me get past O.O.B (Out Of Bound) barriers, floors, and even got me on top of some buildings and to hidden areas.

The best places to do (what I like to call) the Moon Jump Climb are Manhattan, the inside of the Slam City Jam (the fully rendered one, not the one with the low quality texture), and various player-made parks, but I like to do it wherever I can.

Never "discovered" any glitches iirc, but I have read about them and used them. Only more recently though really.

My first play of the first 3 Uncharted games I only really used a glitch (that I don't think was ever patched, but I'm not sure) to defeat the final boss Lazarevic in UC2 on crushing. Basically instead of chasing you around and shooting at you, you can get him to pretty much stand still most of the time near enough to a resin clump that you keep shooting to deplete his health.

Second time I played the games (the remasters) I messed around with some aim/wall (and also gates) glitches. You can glitch through some walls etc by standing next to them, spamming the aim with a pistol and pushing sideways in the direction of the obstacle.

Drake's Fortune has a glitch for the water room (aka blue room) that forces enemies to spawn before you drop down into it, making it easier to pick them off from semi-cover which is a lot easier on crushing (or the new brutal difficulty).

There's also a roll/jump glitch on some terrain but I only tried that out once just to see what happens...I died.

Oh and there are glitches you can force that enable you to use the built-in cheats/tweaks on difficulties you haven't completed yet. You can select unlocked weapons and unlimited ammo.

Uh, I dunno. Something weird happened when I played Planescape once. The awesome character - he's a hand, right? No wait, a skull, definitely a skull. Yeah. He's like... kidnapped by the rats or... something. Only they walked away without him, and he was still in my party but couldn't get damaged but also the game was really glitched to hell at that point. And stuffs, great story etc.

Also, standing in mid-air after being the last boss in Super C.

    Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.
    Michael Ballack, trains in paddocks.
in his spare time, HE FARMS HADDOCKS!
Watch me play Super C, guys!!

Its been a long time since I've personally discovered any interesting glitches. I think Mario 64 was the most recent, I figured out a couple places to clip through walls. I'm sure every Mario 64 glitch is documented on the internet with videos and whatnot now. But when I figured it out I hand drew maps and instructions and sent it into Nintendo Power. I also think Nintendo Power may have printed my name when they challenged their readers to race Koopa the Quick and a few of us did it in zero seconds

The most interesting glitch I found was with Metal Gear on the NES. I couldn't figure out how to beat the game normally, but I figured out a room jump glitch and forced my way into the final bosses room without ever saving that doctor's daughter or whatever.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I'm very fond of the Demigod glitches left in the Elder Scrolls games.

In Morrowind, you could make a (Shield/Element Shield/Sanctuary) with 100 magnitude for 2 seconds on self, and add Soultrap for 1 second on target, to make a permanent effect so you can't be hit.

In Skyrim, you equip gear with Fortify Alchemy, make a Fortify Restoration potion and drink it, un-equip and re-equip, repeat until your potions are a few million % boost, then make some Fortify Smithing and Fortify Enchanting potions. Then you take the Fortify Enchant potion, enchant something with Fortify Health, and have so much health that jumping from the Throat of the World doesn't move your health at all.

I'm sure they had to have left something like that in Oblivion but I didn't play enough to find it.

Also, I somehow became invincible playing as Fragtrap on Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in the area before the last boss. I did that a few times and I'm pretty sure it had something to do with all the health regen effects and action skills. Maniacal Laughter FTW!

I don't know if this counts as a glitch but in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I remember doing the so-called: Net glitch. It was basically when the player holds the A button, at a wall or house, and moves at the slowest speed you can. After a bit, you will notice the screen slightly move, and voila, you're out of the map. (Kinda.) I messed around with my friends doing this. It was fun!

    advent rising on the xbox.
this would have been my fave game of the genre if it wasn't for some nasty glitches demotivating a second (from the ground up) playthrough.
youtube should fill you in if interested.
anybody can effect the glitch, in fact, it's a challenge NOT to.
you have to be in the know.
it's a good part through it on a high rise structure, and there's a room you can get stuck in if not careful.
tbh, even though tube fills in, it's one of those can't see wood for the trees moments, and it's TOTALLY understandable why some won't put the time in and HATE tech due to being at wits end...

Anybody remember the Kickglitch, and the shoulder rolling off buildings glitch from Mirror's Edge? I sure do. Lots of fun, that glitch. Just not too many areas to do it, which is sad.

The worst thing in Fallout 4 so far was trying to get my bare Power Armor off the modding station. Apparently leaving one on the mod station with no pieces attached will bug up so that your game crashes when you try to get out of the power armor. F*** you, Bethesda. F*** you.

    Ah, guilty until proven innocent.

Kinda figured that one out already. I'm just saying, it makes it seem like it's trying to be Minecraft.

Crafting of some sort has been in Fallout and TES games before (I mention TES because I suspect what is in Fallout atm may in some form appear in the next TES title), building settlements is just a step away from earlier types of crafting. Now you actually have a good use for all that near worthless junk you find lying around (materials/resources). Coffee cup = ceramic.

Anyway, in previous games you could have a home base and buy stuff for inside it, bobblehead rack etc etc. Now you can build that stuff yourself plus a whole lot more (even more stuff is added with DLC releases like robot building and trap cages for animals/enemies).
