You should look at MTVs The Shannara Chronicles.
I think Disney is much worse. I don't care for MTV, really. Disney ruined lots of things before.

While technically piracy, there's no way for anyone to prove that you don't actually own copies of the games you're pirating, so it's a grey area in the law. You should be safe in the States, still a filthy pirate though.

Is it really that bad if you're downloading a 15+ year old games that are rather expensive (Illbleed, Project Justice, Silent Hill 1) before taking the plunge and actually buying them?

Would you steal a car to test drive it first before buying the same make and model?

Did you steal a car, apprehended, court summons and then not get convicted though?

    Not even caught.

Drove it off a cliff actually, bailed beforehand!

Yes that's ridiculous. Just like this thread

    Still true though. Or not?

Isn't that why there's a such thing as a test drive. To be honest I really just want as little as a demo. It's more preferable that buying a $150 game that turns out to be shit. That being said I've bought quite a few games I've emulated/pirated (Illbleed and Project Justice are the big 2) because I like playing it on the original console way more.

Action: Thread title (original 'is using a ROM or ISO considered "pirateing"?') changed

I blame myself for the title change.

Who's Axl and how did he end up with genital herpes in the first place? Also, what does it have to do with the whole emulation/"pirateing" debacle? So many questions!
