Thread: dolphin emulation is slow

    Default dolphin

    hi there i can open a run dolphin emulator good for some games but very slow for others to the point where it is not worth playing it i can play super smash bros and mario soccer fine but cannot run sonic adventure dx or super mario sunshine can some one help me please my pc specs are:

    windows edition: windows 10 pro

    processor: intel(R) celleron(R) CPU 900 @ 2.20ghz 2.19ghz

    installed memory (RAM) 2.00 GB

    system type 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    if some one could help so that it works better just so i can play sonic i would be very happy thank you for all who take the time to read and help me.

    is there anyway of fixing that or will i need a new laptop?? also how comes some games work shouldnt they all be slow??

    Just get a Wii and softmod it then you can play games directly from a USB Hard Disc Drive, including GameCube Wii and emulators of older systems

    P.S.Sonic what?

    the GameCube Sonic games are just re-released games from other systems not that you can handle Dreamcast emulation either but there was also PC ports of Sonic games, it depends on what you want to play

    Try out the unofficial Dolphin build "Ishiiruka" https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Threa...custom-version This may or may not be fast enough for your system. It does run better than the official builds on my low end laptop (1.5 ghz amd cpu with 4 gigs ram) but still not really fast enough to be enjoyable. It runs Windwaker without any bells and whistles around the mid 20s frames per second.

    thank you for all the help to every one i gave up on the dolphin but might try at some other point i played and completed sonic adventure 1 and 2 on the nulldc dream cast emulator worked perfectly so that was good i will continue the dolphin try outs after i complete ff8 again but again thank you for all the help you guys rock
