I think because you are running on fat 32 ( your XP )so .. maybe can be an answer to run Mugen on XP..even that.. Like people said..Mugen is dead.

Mugen is a MS-DOS based program..as I know...no chance for win2k and XP

U can t use VGS...it can t display the item-on screen perfectly..aslo the 3D enhancement is a bad choice ( doesn t exist on vgs) but for 2D games is great emulator...

when u can t handle a game with ePSXe with the msot common plug ins...is also good to give a try on CVGS...there is a patch for 2k/XPCVGS is a good PSX emulator..but ePSXe is better..when u can run...

if u are using ePSXe config ur MEM card ( u can rename as any File on windows...just preserve the extension ...) if u need new ones just RUN Bios and two default...

Best u run ur Roms on the native N64 resolution( 640 x 480 ) believe or not over that u are just over using ur Graphic card for nothing..
