It really depends on your other specs, CPU, RAM, etc.. but I would recommened a 6800 non-GT, or 6800GT. My friend has the 6800 non-GT and it runs everything great (Doom 3, Half-Life 2) at a 1280x1024...

Good guide. I was going to fix the DRE I had, but I called Sony up and they would fix it for free.. so I did that instead.

5 hours is a bit short.. hopefully Sony will come out with a better rechargable battery.. I'd be willing to pay for a battery that lasted 10+ hours.

Bleem is an horrible emulator, not even CLOSE to ePSXe. It will not run many games at all, and the games that do run usually have bugs.

Yup, with the latest version I can get the bios to run at around 25FPS, heh.. games are a different story, though.. around 1FPS :x

vB3 is nice once you get used to it, I also use it for my board. I used to like the AdminCP of vB2 better, but after awhile I got used to the new one.

Nothing beats CCE for DVD encodes :)

None of the windows security updates make my computer faster or slower.. and you should upgrade to SP2, if you don't you are just asking for trouble.

Your best bet is going with a cheap host.. not a free one, free hosts are very unrealiable if you are thinking of starting a serious site.
