I'm only new to this so dont know of how much help it will be, but i've seen mentioned that ePSXe has trouble with Dual core processors, a friend of mine suggested that i limit it to using only 1...

i extracted it, got a bin file, wouldn't recognise it, so i converted it. have i jumped ahead of myself lol :D
