Help with Final Burn Legends on xbox

Hope someone can help me out here. I've just softmodded an old xbox and am trying to get final burn legends working.
It loads just fine but I can't get it to see my neo-geo roms at all.
I've changed the file path to the correct location and have put the neogeo.zip rom image in the roms folder but nothing is being found when I refresh the games list.
The roms came from a big package I got for a BT download of neorage5.0 , could these be incompatible...
Any help would be great. Thanks for reading
