You would have to buy a specially made controller with a usb part, regular controllers won't work.
okay... well are there any converters? Like the ones for N64?
Yes, but all are very expensive.

Thank you!! :) but I got my PS3 controller to work through bluetooth! :D So I am all set now! Thank you guys for the tips!
If you ever need or want another way to game on your computer the I recommend doing what I did and that was buying an xbox 360 adapter for your computer, it only costs 20$ and if you already have a xbox 360 controller then it will be an easy choice to make and the adapter already comes with the driver cd and its a legit microsoft product. If I recall, I believe it can also connect up to 4 players. So you can play with friends on your computer. I remember playing SSB for the N64 emulator with my friends on my laptop and it was the shit! Whatever works best for you though. Personally, I don't see how anyone can really play anything beyond a flash game without a controller.
Good luck with your PS3 controller! Damn I forgot about bluetooth and my laptop doesn't have it.:Low:
A wired xbox360 controller work fine with most if not all emulators. Of course you get closer to the feeling of nostalgia with playing with the actual controller the system was designed for.
