Pacific Rim, I kinda wish I didn't see it. So much rushed character development, fucked up plot, and irking details all wish I didn't pay 2 dollars. I said it. 2 DOLLARS.

Uhh, sure Pacific Rim wasn't perfect. It's a giant monster/robot fighting movie FFS. What'd you expect?
Well I finally beat a game, sure it's MW3, but who cares. Now to move on with my list. :lol
Something along the lines of a movie that didn't make me question its premise, plot, and follow through with character development. It's still a site to behold and the action is good. Buuuuut, there's a bit more about it that made me think "Oh, this sure looks like some Transformers shit" and I kinda didn't want to think that when watching this movie. However, it just kept happening. I can't hate it. AT ALL. But I certainty can't bring myself to encourage others to watch it.
Wasn't hugely impressed by Pacific Rim either. D: Didn't think it was terrible, mind, and the fight scenes and special effects were great entertainment. And I can easily turn a blind eye to the gaping plot holes because lol it's a movie about monsters versus giant robots. My problems were more with the utterly bland characters and the offensively bad dialogue. I know that a movie like that trades more on its action than its dialogue, and that most action movie characters are paper thin anyway, but it's possible to have likeable characters and smart, snappy dialogue in an action movie, even if the whole thing is just a skeleton to build action set pieces around. And I expected that much of someone as talented as Guillermo del Toro.
As it was, I hated both of the main characters, didn't care what happened to either of them at all, and cringed at every other line of dialogue. I could more or less excuse it because hey, dumb action movie, but I didn't expect to have to do that. Having to give a free pass to crap dialogue is something I expect of a movie by someone like Michael Bay, but not someone like del Toro. A bit disappointed. It felt like the production values and action scenes of a triple A blockbuster married to the dialogue and characters of some crap made for TV movie.
G'morning all.
Always nice to see a new hangout thread. I think. Yay. 'n stuff.
:P
Free SkullGirls shit in GG. Rush.
Elysium.
I suck hard at Skullgirls (first time playing so yeah), I guess I'll have to train a bit before I can fight against any of you.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is fucking excellent on the Vita. Of course, it's excellent on any platform, but it's really doing it for me on the Vita. :hello:
Everyone is playing Dragon's Crown without me! :c
Hmmm, first match on Skullgirls online, person just spams Peacocks projectile.
What a douche.
I was gonna get Skullgirls, or try to get the Beta thing, but then I remembered how terrible I did when I had it on 360.
