i was just getting stuff from megaupload like 2 hours ago...
What? They're enforcing SOPA even though it didn't pass yet? SOBs. Use Multiupload guys, then if one site goes down the other links would survive (unless Multiupload itself goes).
mediafire and rapidshare are the best ones
This is completely unrelated to SOPA. Read near the end of the article benneboi posted.
Holy fuckballs :(
I saw this pretty much as soon as I got online today. Pretty ballsy doing that the day after the nation- and internet-wide SOPA protests.
Hong Kong, actually.
But it's terribile new actually, I'm kinda sorry for the people who paid their Premium accounts. But it's a load of bull anyway, they should've charged the people who upload the illegal stuff on the site, not the owners. It's like charging the landlord of a building where a person has been killed.
This is going to cause the admins no end of headache, trying to re-sort the uploaded ISOs and similar, isn't it?
Blast it all. :S
Yeah I had no idea until I read that BBC article. Crazy shit.
I just deleting my thread, but have the file ready.
When all this stupidity ends, I'll reup it.
Well, whatever I can upload, I will. I appreciate this place too much to let this kind of bullshit undercut it.
