vbagx channel resets to Wii menu after launching PLS HELP

I have every other emulator working with their forwarders and channels except for vbagx and I have no idea why. I followed every step correctly on http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Visual_Boy_Advance_GX (downloaded newest version 2.3.6 & using installer channel 1.3). I have HBC is 1.1.0 and running IOS58. My SD directory looks like this: SD/vbagx/roms and SD/vbagx/saves also SD/apps/vbagx/boot.dol,etc I've also tried reinstalling HBC and IOS58 with IOS58 Installer. I am confused on what I am doing wrong and would appreciate the help and thoughts. :bigahhh:
